Identification Method Of Ceramic Tile Quality

Ceramic tiles are essential in home decoration, and the demand has been increasing. Based on the fact that ceramic tiles are stone ceramic materials formed through special processing, the quality of ceramic tiles produced by ceramic tile manufacturers of different industrial levels will be different. Today I'll teach you the method of identifying the quality of ceramic tiles.

Identification method of ceramic tile quality

Method 1: look at the appearance

Whether the color and luster of ceramic tiles are uniform, whether the surface finish and flatness are good, whether the surrounding regular patterns are complete, and draw four or five pieces from a box to see whether there are defects such as color difference, deformation, lack of edges and corners, etc.

Method 2. Measure with ruler

The higher the accuracy of the side length of ceramic tiles, the better the effect after paving. Buying high-quality ceramic tiles is not only easy to construct, but also can save man hours and auxiliary materials. Use a tape measure to measure the size of each ceramic tile and whether there is any difference around it. The one with high accuracy is the top grade.

Method 3. Drip test

The water can be dropped on the back of the ceramic tile to see the speed of infiltration after the water is dispersed. Generally speaking, the slower the water absorption is, the greater the density of the ceramic tile is; On the contrary, the faster the water absorption, it indicates that the density is sparse, and its internal quality is better than that of the former.

Method 4. Listen to the sound

Tap with a hard object. The more crisp the sound, the higher the degree of porcelain and the better the quality. You can also clip a corner of the ceramic tile with your left thumb, index finger and middle finger, hang it down easily, and tap the middle and lower part of the ceramic tile with your right index finger. If the sound is clear and pleasant, it is the top grade, and if the sound is dull and stagnant, it is the bottom grade.

Method 5. Hardness

Ceramic tiles are of high quality with good hardness, strong toughness and non fragile. Scratch each other with the edges and corners of the tiles, and check whether the broken fragments are fine or loose, hard, brittle or soft, leaving scratches or scattered powder. If the former is the top grade, the latter is the poor quality.

The method of identifying ceramic tile quality is introduced here. It should be noted that ceramic tile is the most commonly used material in decoration. Understanding ceramic tile knowledge can avoid additional losses caused by purchase. Therefore, understanding ceramic tile knowledge is very important to facilitate the identification of ceramic tile quality.
