Granite has high hardness. Its Mohs hardness is about 6, its density is between 2.63g/cm3 and 2.75g/cm3, and its compressive strength is 100-300mpa, of which fine-grained granite can be more than 300mpa, and its bending strength is generally 10 ~ 30MPa. Granite is often produced in the form of rock foundation, rock stock, rock block and so on, and is controlled by the regional tectonic structure. Generally, the scale is relatively large and the distribution is relatively wide. Therefore, it is convenient to mine, easy to produce large materials, and its joint development is regular, which is conducive to the mining of stones with regular shape.

Granite has high waste rate, can be processed in various ways, and the plate can be spliced well. In addition, granite is not easy to be weathered and can be used as outdoor decorative stone. The texture and lines of granite are uniform. Although the color is mainly light color, it is also very rich, including red, white, yellow, green, black, purple, brown, beige, blue and so on. Moreover, its color changes little, which is suitable for large-scale use.
